What? #orlug is a channel dedicated for the preservation of fun, free comedy, and geeky topics. Our focus and fathering came from participation in the PLUG (Portland Linux User Group) list. There was a "need" for a place to harbor more immediate/lamer answers that we didn't want to post to the list, lest the flame wars begin. And thus #orlug was born.

We have many people coming in from all over Oregon to visit and induldge in Linux wisedom and fun. However some people pop in from other parts of the country as well.
