#orlug lives on the Freenode Network, a collection of servers that strives for truth, justice, and minimal ops on a channel. They try to build a non-hostile environment with their servers, hoping to keep flames and ego-ops to a minimal.

Most visitors of #orlug reside in Oregon and specifically in the Portland Metro area.
